Fall leaves, splitting apart and little picasso

Raking the fall leaves proves to be a very fun activity for all involved, even if at first it sounds like a drag! Especially when the amount of leaves is endless!!! And this isn't all the leaves. There are many more to fall still from the trees. Can you see William's enthusiam? He lightens up a little as you'll see when you scroll down.

This is just a portion of our back yard. It's too big for my camera lens.

You must know that this is Tommy's own pile that he raked for himself as big brother would have nothing to do with little brother messing up his piles. So where does William get away with messing up Tommy's hard work??? Yes that is Tommy's leg sticking up from the pile!

Yesterday our family gathered in a small room off the church hallway so Brian could be set apart for a new calling. As we were sitting down, Tommy looked up and said, "Mom, how are they going to split Dad apart?" He didn't ask the question with any concern in his voice so either he didn't care if his Dad got split apart or he figured it would happen and everything would still be alright. Too funny...made us all laugh!
Tommy came home from school today so excited about the fact that he had art. He pulled out his zerox of a Picasso that he colored with different kinds of crayons and proceeded to tell me about about "Polano" and how he used a lot of bright color in his paintings and how he (Tommy) blended two colors over some lines to make it look like x-rays. His interest in art is amazing me and I love to see what he comes home with.

First Fall in MD

Some of William's soccer games this fall were played in intense humid heat!! the photo doesn't show it, but his face is beat read from the heat!

Moments when all 4 munchins get along and actually play together nicely are RARE and must be captured so I can remember them!

A stake Daddy daughter dance proved to be a hit and was the best one yet!! Dad won the karoke contest!!

This fall we visited the Maryland Fire Museum and found all sorts of fun things to do! Tommy and his friend Thomas loved being firemen!

Nash and his little friend Sarah went for a drive in the firetruck!

We decided to start the halloween excitement with a trip to a local farm, Weber's farm. William was so happy to be on a scout overnighter when we went!

The soap is something new that may become a tradition as everyone loved it!! you can see that some of it has been put to good use already!
