Where do you begin when you leave your blog for almost 2 months? In the present, I guess...it's too hard to back track!! Recently we had a visit from my first mission companion and her beautiful family. It's been like 17 years since we've seen each other. Both of us have 4 kids now...and she lives only an hour away. It was so great to see her and her hubby, who was my first district leader! our little boys became fast friends and it was so fun to see them chase each other around. They'd be great buds if we lived closer to each other.
On Christmas Eve, we went to my Aunt's house and saw 2 of my cousins, Liz & Ann and their kids. It was nice to be together. Between each of my cousins and myself, we have 2 Williams, 2 Tommy's and 2 Ellie's. Great names!!
Christmas Day! Very quiet here as it was just us. Brian's parents are in Florida with the rest of his family. There are no photos of me because I am a bit under the weather and with my red eyes, I look like a scarry monster! The kids had a really great day. We hung out in our pj's all day and played games and enjoyed being together! Santa delivered sleds and snowball makers! What was he thinking?? There's no snow!!
Big gifts from Aunt Kathy were fun to open on Christmas eve!
Thanksgiving Preparations! Hanging turkeys! Aunt Kathy was here with us, but no close up shots this holiday. Aunt kathy was bitten in the cheek by a small dog just before coming down from Phili. Her wound became infected and she ended up in the hospital for 2 days over the weekend. It was not what she had hoped for Thanksgiving but she was so brave and didn't complain once! As for the dog?? We haven't heard anything new but last we checked it didn't seem to be a worry to the owners that their dog had bitten our Aunt Kathy! We played apples to apples and I got the Thanksgiving Day card!!
